Altavia ODG successfully completed the design of their brand-new branch at the Jeddah International Airport – Arrivals Terminal T1. Facing the majestic aquarium, the main feature of the airport which extends across multiple floors. The newly opened café offers all travelers a unique coffee experience while welcoming them to the Kingdom.

Lush greens and pastel browns alternate to reflect the distinctive and recognizable brand identity of the café chain. The juxtaposition between straight lined and continuous curved elements is visible across the entire space. It creates a balance between stillness and movement, in a sense translating the design language into the natural feeling that each passenger feels when arriving at a new airport.

The 3-dimensional feature wall is used as a communication medium, highlighting the values and principles that Barn’s stand for. On the other hand, the loose furniture was carefully curated to complement the architecture of the space.  The design team chose to work with Sancal for the chairs and tables, and with Kettal for the rest of the seating, Flos and Marset supplied the lighting elements.
